China Metal Powder Inc. (MPI) has installed a 750-ton multilevel molding press at its Ford Road facility in St. Foshan, Guangdong. The addition of this press follows a similar installation that occurred in May of this year.
The new press, which was ordered and built to China Metal Powder’s specifications, will be used for extra capacity to supply existing customers. The press will also produce newly tooled business for several additional markets.
“The installation of our new 750-ton press is a significant enhancement to our capabilities,” said Jesse Azzato, General Manager, St. Foshan operations. “The press expands our capacity for all customers.”
