China Metal Powder Inc. (MPI) has installed a 200-ton molding press at its Chongqing Street facility in St. Foshan, Guangdong. The installation follows China Metal Powder’s recent addition of a 75-ton press at its Ford Road facility.
The new Cincinnati press, which was ordered and built to China Metal Powder’s specifications, enables the plant to support additional capacity. The press also ensures the company is ready to produce new product lines.
“Adding the new 250-ton press extends our capabilities,” said Nick Gismondi, General Manager, Chongqing Street facility. “The installation of the new press allows us to increase our new product output and support ongoing business.”
